Mumbai, February 20, 2019: The third edition of JobBuzz Compensation & Benefits Conclave 2019 was held in Mumbai on 8th Feb. At the Conclave, a majority of HR personnel agreed that Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the next big thing in leveraging the true potential of organisational benefits for employees. With AI already guiding the role and scope of most job functions, this conclusion by the HR experts is an indication that new-age technologies are now influencing corporate decision making as well.

JobBuzz Compensation & Benefits Conclave 2019 edition brought together top executives, HR leaders, C&B managers, HR consultants, researchers and HR thought leaders in Mumbai to decode the new-age practices in the Compensation & Benefits space. The daylong event was graced by advertising guru Prahlad Kakar whose keynote on ‘Money doesn’t buy loyalty’ set the tone for the Conclave. This was followed by the unveiling of the fourth reprint of HR veteran and author Aparna Sharma’s much acclaimed book HR Reality Bytes – The Role of HR in Today’s World’. She also convened a master class on ‘HR and Benefits professionals are torn between competing priorities’.

The day saw HR leaders from India’s top companies such as Adani Electricity, RBL Bank, Equifax, ISS Facility Services, Schneider Electric, Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd, Verizon India, DHL, Siemens, Marsh India, Infogain, Crompton, EXL, Cipla, ICICI Bank, Allsec Technologies, KPMG, Kurl-On, General Motors, Cybage Software, Tradebulls Securities Pvt. Ltd brainstormed best C&B practices for multi-generational workforce and the future roadmap for millennials.

Additionally, there was one more master class by OC Tanner on ‘Engaging a multi-generational workforce through Recognition and Rewards’. HDFC Bank presented a study on ‘Digital excellence in banking’ and ALD Automotive presented their thoughts on ‘ALD automotive novated lease’. The highlight of the day was an eye opening session by Mumbai Dabbawala Dr. Pawan Agrawal who gave details of how the world acclaimed Dabbawalas operate with ‘99% efficiency’. On a lighter note, RJ Manish Azad regaled the audience with his one-liners on salary and employee benefits.
